Kroger has partnered with Covid Vaccine to open a store in the Atlanta area, according to the company.
Kroger announced the deal on Thursday.
The deal was first reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The new store will be located at 9100 E. Broadway Blvd.
Krogers website says it will be “a new, family-owned and operated store, with a full range of Kroger products, including Kroger® fresh, frozen, prepared and fresh vegetables, grocery items and other foods.”
It’s not yet known how much the store will cost.
In a statement to ESPN, Kroger President of Corporate Communications Lisa A. Lefevre said: “We are excited to partner with Covids Vaccine in the upcoming weeks to bring these innovative products to our customers.”
In February, Covids said it would buy out its stake in KFC, but the chain did not immediately announce plans to open its first grocery store in Atlanta.
