After the explosive controversy surrounding ‘The People vs. O.J. Simpson’ (the film), we wanted to provide you with some insight into what ‘The Last Interview’ has to offer.
It’s funny, and it’s smart, but there’s nothing stupid about it.
“This is a film that’s funny because it’s satirical,” says Will Ferrell, who plays O. J. Simpson in the film.
“The way that people react to it is what’s interesting.
I’ve always been funny.
You can’t say you’re a serious person, because you’re not serious.”
This year, the film’s cast also includes Mark Wahlberg, Julia Roberts, Alec Baldwin, and Bill Murray.
As for the script, Ferrell says that he and the other actors have “always had an appreciation for each other’s intelligence and humor.”
“I’m a great comedic writer, but I don’t know how to write a comedy script,” Ferrell told Vice.
“I just know how much fun it is to watch people laugh.
And the humor comes from that.”
“The Last Visit” is set to release on March 31.
