The cosmetics brand that’s been known for its sexy products, trendy color schemes, and affordable prices is set to become a reality in Ohio.
Sephora has agreed to invest $1.2 million to acquire the makeup and services of a Ohio beauty agency, according to the Columbus Dispatch.
The acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2019.
The acquisition was first reported by Bloomberg News.
“Sephoria has always had an exciting and dynamic makeup collection that will continue to inspire the world,” Sephora CEO Andrew Ladd told the paper.
“We are excited to be working with Sephoria and will continue our expansion into the beauty industry.”
The company has been making waves with its new makeup line, which includes a wide range of eye shadows and lipsticks, along with makeup brushes and products.
In 2017, the company signed a deal with Bumble and Bumble, a popular online beauty service, to bring a range of products to the brand.
While the new acquisition will bring the makeup brand into Ohio, it’s also set to make an impact in other parts of the country.
Earlier this month, Sephoras makeup line was unveiled at the New York City Fashion Week.
The company is currently rolling out a new line of cosmetics and skincare that will be launched later this year.
