Venture capital firm Quest Labs is looking for an engineer to work on its “Mining” video game, which is based on the popular tabletop game Dungeons & Dragons.
The video game was developed by Quest Labs for its game studio, the company said in a blog post.
“The video games industry has exploded in the past few years, with many new IPs and new game systems released each year,” Quest Labs said.
“Our goal with ‘Mines’ is to bring the best of both worlds to the table, while also giving the gaming community something new to experience.”
The video, called “Mines” is set in a mining operation in the fictional planet of Tarkir.
Quest Labs has also created “The Maze” and “D&D: Adventures of D&D,” both of which are based on games that have a focus on storytelling and adventure.
Quest Labs is a part of Digital Anvil, a technology startup that recently raised $8.6 million.
Its first game, “Dundalk: The Maze Maker,” launched in May 2015 and was the top-selling game of the year.
The company has also developed “The D&Ds Game: Black & White,” “The Dungeons &D: The Black & Gold Series: Tarkirk and the Dark World,” and “The Tarkiris Campaign: Blackwater.”
